Ruger 10/22 Cerakote Work
Cerakote is a baked on ceramic finish which is hands down the most durable finish available for firearms. It's significantly more durable than bluing, or the factory paint that Ruger applies to the 'blued' receivers. Another plus is that it's completely impervious to the elements. Obviously you still need to take care of the bore and the other internals, but no more worrying about a little rain.
Feel free to ship any of these parts along with your trigger when you are getting trigger work to save on shipping overall! The options listed below are our most popular colors and combinations, but we literally get the whole gambit of requests. Feel free to call if you have any questions! (360) 210-5403.
This is the part which holds the trigger, and fits into the receiver with those two pins. It's what you are removing and shipping to us when you have trigger work done. We do not have the trigger as an option, since on our Tier 2 and 1 trigger jobs we are already coating the triggers, and they are available in all our standard Cerakote colors. It's unfortunately not worth anyone's time or money to Cerakote just a factory trigger, so we recommend (if you want a colored trigger) just saving your money and jumping to a Tier 2 trigger job. You'll get the custom color, and you'll get a much better feeling trigger job. This work includes Cerakoting the magazine release; please notify us if you do not want that work done.
The receiver is just that, just the receiver. From the factory they are painted, either with black paint or some kind of clear coat. Please do NOT attempt to remove that paint; any chemical applied to it simply softens the paint and causes it to turn to rubber, which makes it nearly impossible to sandblast off. The inside of the receiver will be lightly coated. We do NOT coat the inside of the barrel hole.
This is JUST the barrel. If you are sending in just the barrel, or the barrel and another piece, choose this option.
We can coat pretty much any kind of stock, including wood. We even have a Cerakote clear coat which has a slightly satin finish, and is excellent for a hunting rifle. NOTE: if your stock has any kind of applied camo finish, such as hydro dipping or a laid on vinyl, we WILL NOT coat it! That stuff flakes off when you don't want it to, but it is incredibly difficult to strip when you want it to come off....
Full Rifle (No stock)
This option includes the receiver, barrel, trigger housing with magazine release, and other small parts such as the scope rail, barrel band, muzzle device, V-block, screws, etc. Obviously there are a million different configurations, so make sure that you have good notes when you send in the firearm. But be aware that if you send us an action, trigger housing, barrel, and other small parts, you will be charged the full rifle price.
Again, the sky is the limit on options for Cerakote. If you have any questions or need clarification about anything, just let us know and we can build you a custom quote, or whatever is needed.
